简介：故事描写的是1888年时英国人在Riotinto采铜矿时的情况，因当时铜矿场拥有权的英国公司，使用一种最经济的方式采集铜矿，但这种方式早在多年前英国当地就己经禁止使用，因为此种方式不禁造成许多污染，也让许多矿工因此生病，而燃烧的废料飘至空中再随雨水降落大地，产生的硫磺导至附近的农产业也都无法生长，但英国公司只以经济为考量，并不在乎一床床生病的年轻童工，执意使用同样方式，而引致造成罢工及屠杀事件，一连串的真人真事历史。
